0- Why should I not use Hadron?
If you are a private individual with no *NIX expertise available to help you when you run into problems and you are not interested in learning about the underlying workings of a *NIX system, then you shouldn’t use Hadron.¹
1- Is Hadron user-friendly?
Yes, Hadron may be user friendly. But it is not idiot friendly.
2- Do you need more developer and contributor?
Absolutely! See developer page.
3- Does Hadron support binary packages?
Not yet.
4- Are there LiveCD or any bootable media?
There are no bootable media. We will provide a rootfs. It will be a tarball and include base packages to develop a GNU/Linux distribution.
5- Is Hadron based-on Gentoo?
No, Hadron was designed from scratch. It uses a new package manager called lpms.
6- Why did you create a new distro?
Because we can.
7-What is your design principle?
Everything should be made as simple as possible, but no simpler. (Albert Einstein)
8-What does will this get me that Gentoo does not?
Did you ever heard of “speed“. Or were you watching the spinner while turning forever? Also we don’t like the ebuild syntax. Don’t even talk about eclasses, that’s kind of spaghetti.
